Get start- and enddate of event

I'd like to have a variable for the start- and enddate of the calendar events (eg. {c1bd} and {c1ed}). This is needed to correctly calculate duration, time till end or beginn for multi-day events (eg. from monday 23:00 to wednesday 02:00, tuesday would be lost using only times)
