Have my step count from my Samsung Note 8 display on my Gear S3

SHealth will display my step count on my Gear S3 on my phone but not the other way around. My caffeine count goes both ways but not step count. Makes no sense. SHealth needs to be more bi-lateral and the user ability to choose what and how info in shared
