Ambient second hand support on Wear 3100 watches (eg Fossil Sport)

I've just got a Fossil Sport watch and I read that the new Wear 3100 chipset it's built on supports a second hand in ambient mode.

I enabled my digital seconds element in my homemade watch face to display in ambient mode but it only really updates once a minute so I assume this feature needs specifically supporting by WatchMaker.

Please could you investigate adding this ability to WatchMaker? Thanks!
