Semicircular Numbers and Dials

I'd like the ability to create number rings and dials that do not span a full 360 degree circle. In addition, I'd like to be able to specify the start and end points, and for numbers, the actual span of numbers (beyond the normal 1-12, 1-31, 1-60, etc. spans included.) For example, if I want to make a 1-5 dial that starts at 240 degrees and ends at 360, I could do so.

I've been doing this using the Curved Text option and then placing things like numbers and days of the week as the text and then using rotate and radius to put them where I want them. It's not the simple and ideal solution that you are looking for... but it can be done with a little extra work.

I was about to post a feature request about adding a 12-24 and/or 12-0 choice in the number ring, but this solution could be better.

i've done this by adding a textring 1-12 nad a custom textring from 13 to 24.
In "Opacity" from "textring 1-12 i put "{dh24}

It would be especiallly useful for the Moto 360 where you could have a ring spanning the circular portion and use the flat part at the bottom to display other stuff.

This will come in handy especially when the numbers can also be directed inbound as wished in this feature request: "Invert the dir. of rotated text in number rings"
