would love this feature seen some nice needles/hands on other peoples watches i could reuse, instead at present i have to duplicate watch with the feature in and remake my watch from scratch. would be useful if saving that layer was added to the phone for future use.
Totally agree with this. We have weather. We can use it on computer, those who have them.. But we don't have this and ive needed it from the start. Was thinking of this today, yesterday..

Not that I haven't found elements on other people watch faces that I would like to implement in my own watches, but some people, like myself, spend hours on end in Illustrator and Photoshop creating watch faces, hands, dials etc.
I find it o.k. that if you wish to steal other people's work, you should have to do a little work yourself, i.e. copy a watch face, delete the elements that you don't want and then start to build 'your' watch around the elements that are left over.
Plagiarism shouldn't be made that easy.
That's true: I initially suggested this idea because I was tired of copy-pasting my own scripts every time I started a new face, not thinking about plagiarism.
Plagiarism is a problem but, like you said, is already possible.
I guess this funtion wouldn't affect protected faces, so the problem of plagiarism will be basically like now.
correct. it would add or stop it either way. it won't change a thing as far as that goes. (plagerism) It's ain't be nice to have for personal use when tweaking a face for personal use or taking elements from your own faces to use on another quickly is all...I don't think it'll encourage theft moreso at all personally.
TRUE but.....it's not always for theft of course. sometimes an author doesn't know how to do a particular thing and wants help and says so outright to add or change what you want so there's no reason this should be looked at it as a way to steal other's work....it's much more than that and for good more than bad IMO... I edit a lot of faces for personal use as do most people if they're on an unlocked face so it's something I feel the paid version should have definitely...maybe leave it out of the free one.
