There are a lot of watches that look nice but when going into "dimmed mode" often look plain and don't look like a real watch.

Totally agree with this request. When selecting a WatchFace I always look at the ambient version because that is the one that will be displayed nearly all of the time. It is what counts for me.
But some watches have a nice interactive face and a plain ambient face.
I would really like to be able to select to keep the interactive face all the time (on a per-watchface basis), without keeping the watch awake.
