Additional calendar event tags

I was wondering, are there any updates coming soon that will add more calendar tags?

I would like to put the next day (Mon, Tues, etc) of the next calendar event. Additional tags could be Number of days till next event, and event date. For example, if the number of days till next event is less than 6, print event day, else print full event date.
